I own a small home theater business basically out of my house. I buy products from authorized wholesalers, and then sell them retail. I’ve mainly been running on a cash/check basis. I have a business checking account. But I now have a big customer who wants to pay with a credit card.

Are there any good credit card services available that have low fees?

Check with the bank you currently have an account with and see what they offer.

Heard the fees with American Express were the highest…have you checked out a service like Paypal that lets them pay with credit card and sends you the check? Have you asked the bank where you have your checking account?

I’ve looked at Noteworld and American Payment Technologies, but these guys are cheaper.
