Hide Folders
You won’t have traditional documentation as W-2′s since you are self employed. Show them your bank statements.

When I refinanced the house I had been working from home for 2 years making items for other people’s websites. I basically took in the stack of email orders and my invoice/receipt book as proof of what my income was, as well as the previous year’s tax return (as I had to file a schedule H for the income). I was considered an independant contractor since the items were being made on my own with my own money for supplies, and were resold by a second party.
It took a little longer, but they didn’t seem to have a problem with it.
