If you are wanting to start a booth and flea market that is already opened you will need to just rent a booth. It will be your duty to keep track of your earnings and fees.
If you are wanting to rent your own building. You should get your EIN, * like your business SS# *

If you are selling hand-crafted items in relatively small quantities, you may not have to get a license at all. It also depends on the requirements of the flea market.
Most likely, however, if your state has sales tax, you will have to register with the state’s sales tax dept. This means you would have to collect sales tax from the people who buy your items (putting up a sign that says, “Sales Tax Included” and tweaking your prices a bit is the easiest way instead of dragging out a calculator and tacking the tax on at the end.) and then pay that sales tax to the state monthly or quarterly.
Search in your state’s business or tax website for specific details.
