There isn’t a clear answer to this.
At a leadership institute this weekend, I spoke to a recruiter from PWC (big four accounting firm), and she said that they have 3 values, client, quality, and cooperation. You need to have the technical skills to show the interviewer you know what you’re talking about, but above all, you need to be consistent and quick in interviews and interaction. You need to network with those you meet, and “shove your foot in the door”.
The business world values leadership above all, and through some of the core principles of leadership (i.e. communication, relationship building, values), you will connect with the recruiter, and find your place in the business world
